Fireworks

Info

Text

Text: M. Hömberg/Klaus Voormann
Musik: K. Schindler/Stephan Remmler

Stephan: "Nina and I were coming back from our shopping at the Milky Way and once again we were passing the blue planet Earth, when suddenly"
Nina: "Ok look Stephan - There, the place they call Europe they have all those new giant firecrackers and rockets. I think they are going to have a big party."
Stephan: "And right she was. It was great!"

Fireworks! Rockets exploding in flashing light
Holiday! Colours of joy on a shiny night
Partytime! The planet is dancing - oh what a show
Festival - Flickering flames in a golden glow…

Stephan: "It was fascinating - a cosmic miracle. It went on for one day and one night. Then got all dark"
Nina: "Oh look, they are putting this big blck cloud around their planet. I think they want to go to sleep."
Stephan: "So we went under the blanket of clouds…"
Nina: "Oh, they are not sleeping. They are still partying!"

Fireworks! Rockets exploding in flashing light
Holiday! Colours of joy on a shiny night
Partytime! The planet is dancing - oh what a show
Festival - Flickering flames in a golden glow…

Nina: "Oh, not too much going to happen around here anymore."
Stephan: "Ja! Let's get out of here. Maybe we'll come back in a couple of million years or so…""
