"Nasty" war einer der frühesten Songs von Trio und gehörte gar schon zum Repertoire, als die Band sich noch [[Wind]] nannte. Auf frühen [[trio-konzerte|Trio-Konzerten]] gehörte "Nasty" noch fest ins Programm. Irgendwann Ende 1981 flog der Song allerdings aus der Setliste und wurde seither nicht mehr live gespielt.

Von dem Song existiert auch eine Demo-Version, die bis heute - im Gegensatz zu anderen Trio-Demos - unveröffentlicht blieb. Als Trio im Sommer 1981 ihr erstes Album aufnahm, gab es für "Nasty" einen kleinen Gimmick: Kralles dissonantes Gitarrensolo wird mit zersplitterndem Glas eingeleitet. Dieses Geräusch wurde erzeugt, indem im Studio ein Karton mit Glassplittern umher geworfen wurde. 

Kurios ist, dass 1982 der Song ausgerechnet in Bolivien - und nur dort! - als [[nasty_single|Singe]] ausgekoppelt wurde. Auf der B-Seite fand sich "[[Los Paul]]". Eine tolle, sehr rare Single.

"Nasty" ist wohl auch das einzige Lied, in dem Kralle von vorne bis hinten den kompletten Text mitsingt.
